Patience Is A Virtue

3hours 15mins.

Yes. For 3 hours 15mins, I queued.

From 1530 to 1845.

For what?

Nike Human Race Pack Collection.

This is by far the longest amount of time I've ever queued to obtain my race pack. Standard Chartered was around half an hour with so many more times the number of participants. Sundown Marathon was even shorter at 10mins. New Balance Real Run, around 5 mins. This one's the ultimate. Never in my whole life have I ever queued so long just to receive my race pack. The queue was horrendously long. Its as long as the race itself man! What made it worse? I was ALONE and HAD NOTHING TO DO. Yes no books or notes to read. No one to talk to. The only thing that probably kept me occupied was reading the papers from the person in front of me. Oh and thinking and pitying the number of people who were behind me probably kept me motivated.

One could also say it was more like a reflection period for myself. Thinking of school and how it has been. School work and life as a student came zipping past my mind. Personal relationships made the bulk of it though. Den was accomodation in school and whether I could choke up ample amount of points to secure a room next year. Work work and more work filled my mind. Scarryy... But whats life without a little stress? Stress makes life more interesting. Though I wouldn't really mind a smooth sailing life, career, relationship and so on. But hey some people just don't have the luck and I'm one of em. So lan lan suck thumb I guess! Shit happens, life goes on. Nothing much you can do but just work work and work harders each time I guess.

Well lots of stuff in my head.
Its starting to fill up.
Hopefully useful stuff is in it.

Back the practicing maths for quiz.

New Phone =)

Upgraded my Singtel I-One plus plan to a Student's plan for the extra perks they provide for students. If not for that, my monthly phone bill's probably gonna cost a bomb! All those outgoing phonecalls made to friends and sms-es sent! Gosh! Signed a new 24mth deal and got to swap my old W660i for the 5MP Sony Ericsson C902 Cybershot =) I'm gonna test me camera soon! But first, gotta find a new screen protector for my phone and get a nice simple pouch for it. Don't wanna damage such a nice phone do I?

Only bad thing, the line is officially under my name and not under my mom's. Did the transferring of ownership just now and it was finalised once I signed that darn elctronic pad. Bills are gonna come in monthly and yes, I've got to settle em' myself. So much for being an adult of 21 years of age eh.

Sick =(

I am quite surprised at my procrastination skills =)

I've injured my shoulder during SPMS orientation. Had a shoulder strain during one of the wet games. The excruciating pain was quite unbearable on that very day. But heck, I put up one hell of a fight. Thank god the the pain subsided a little the next day of the camp itself. I refused to see the doctor hoping it will recover on its own. Moreover its just a strain. Though quite a bad one.

Same camp. Agrravated my ankle injury due to excessive running. Its been hurting even before the camp. Self medication was even applied. Tried hot and cold therapy, followed by muscle cream. Rest rest and more rest. The pain alleviated. But the running about in camp made it worse, though the pain was still at a manageble threshold. CAC totally smacked it out of place. The pain was excruciating. Every step I took was pure torture. Especially the runs. Even my mum commented on how swollen my ankle looked.

And so weeks passed after the camp. Finally. Fell sick. Sore throat cum cough. Got forced by my mum to see the doctor. And so consulted the doctor on my leg (the more important issue). Was quite relieved to hear that my injury wasn't a stress fracture on the ankle bone but just a tendon pull. And so, now I've got 1 bottle of cough syrup to clear, anti biotics some steriods and more pills to pop. Haizzz..

But one think for sure. I can feel my achilles tendon now!!!

Viva La Vida

Great Mix of instruments =)

Check out the lead singer's eyes man. Cool...

SkooooL...

Ok its been a while since I've updated.

Orientation =) Happening I must say. Games were awesome. Much better than I'd expected. SP games were the most interesting. Never in my whole life did I imagine doing such crazy stuff.

School =( Mugging mode set. First week of school and close to 100plus pages of notes to print. Plus we had to touch maths again. Its been like 2 yrs since I've encountered maths. 4 year for physics. 2 Years for Biology! Man. Recalling all those stuff is darn hard.

Sick =( Bad sore throat. Body feels weak. Leg hurts. I finally decided to see a doctor for my leg. Thank God its not a stress fracture. Its just a tendon pull. Doc presribed some pretty strong medication. So no running for the next week I guess. Only swimming.

SP =) Went out with my SP from CAC camp. Twice! Hahaha. Movie dates for both. Got to know her very much better. Was quite shy during the camp itself so I didnt really speak much. Yeapz. Very nice girl. Very very very nice girl =)
