Well I must say year 2007 seems like a relatively ok year. Looking back on the New Year resolutions I've made, it seems as most of em' made progress.
1) Started on Driving.
2) Going for medical check up for my Powerboat licence
3) Train for IPPT gold.
I must say these 3 made tremendous improvement. -Satisfied-
I didn't run for a week. Just went for a slow jog just now. I must say my fitness dropped horribly. I was physically and mentally exhausted. I couldn't even complete a normal 5km run. Haiz time to wake up a bit. Kept giving excuses that I'm very very busy (no doubt). But looking back, I think a better time management should do the work. Was watching youtube just a while ago. I must say I'm pretty impressed at the way the US Navy Seals train. Here's the qualification to train as a Seal.
II. SEAL PST
a. 500-yard swim using breast and/or sidestroke in under 12 minutes and 30 seconds
10-minute rest
b. Perform a minimum of 42 push-ups in 2 minutes
2-minute rest
c. Perform a minimum of 50 sit-ups in 2 minutes
2-minute rest
d. Perform a minimum of 6 pull-ups (no time limit)
10-minute rest
e. Run 1 ½ miles wearing boots and long pants in under 11 minutes and 30 seconds
Seems like this shit aint for any tom dick or harry. Just feeling a little weird. After seeing the video, it sort of spurred me on to train harder. To run faster, swim faster and workout to exceed my limit. I reckon its a good thing. Now instead of IPPT gold, I think i wanna aim for NDU IPPT Gold.
