Its been a while since I've updated. You know how routine my life is. Duty, bookout, bookin, duty. Nothing fantastic happened really. So I shant update everyday I guess.
Duty week was ok. Did the RHIBS station for the whole duty cycle cos' Hanwei was on ATT C. So I've gotta be there to understudy my PS and APS. I'm starting to get the hang of the lifestyle as a Platoon Sergeant. Being bombarded by questions by the men and Jordan constantly questioning the strength and status of the people reporting sick. Its kindof stressful being a PS but I think i can handle it. Was really glad the guys listened to my instructions though I'm just a sergeant-to-be. It really pleased me to see Jordan's shock face at how a disorganised platoon with no sense of urgency managed to fall in in threes with no movement in the file on time :) *Pats Back*
The only question that left is WHO? will be PS. Though I really wanna be PS and Jordan(PS), Tommy(APC),are all for me to be PS, most of the guys are more or less in favour of Hanwei to be PS. They feel that he went through SISPEC and should be given the position. Actually I'm fine with it. Anyway Hanwei only has 3 months to serve as PS before he ORD. But what I'm afraid id that within this 3 months, the platoon might get into trouble due to Hanwei's monkeying around larh. Not that Hanwei's not good, just a little too playful. The total opposite of Jordan who is too strict. I'm in between. I dunnoe. I guess its up to the higher level to decide.
Been running quite alot despite the haze. Geering up for Sea Soldier Leadership Course. Heard its gonna be 6 weeks or hardcore physical and metal training. Hopefully physical wise I'm ok. Did lots of long long runs and weights training at Daniel's house. Some pepople might think I'm nuts but I sort of LOVE whats installed for the physical training session in SSLC. Biathalon biathalon biathalon! Wooo hooo... A new sport which I might soon take up. Wooo, I just can't wait.
25th October. SSLC Begins...
