BAD BAD BAD. I shouldn't have taken lunch. Even if I did, I shouldn't have had curry rice for lunch. Wrong decision made. Cost me my IPPT dearly.
Chinups first. Managed to do 11 with ease but struggled with the last one. But still made 12. Very satisfied due to the fact that I never touched the pull up bar since ORD.
Standing broad jump next. Fault 4 times. That 4 jumps wasted my energy. I could literally feel my legs go numb after 4 jumps. Thank god I still managed to jump 234cm for my last 2 jumps to keep my gold award target in sight.
Sit ups. What can I say. The easiest of the 4 static stations. But for me the worst at that time. Curry rice. 42 sit ups made the curry crept slowly up my throat. I had to down gulps of water to force it back down into the stomach. urh!
Shuttle run. Bad. Even though I hit 10.0s despite having wobbly legs due to SBJ. Its still far from my PB of 8.9s.
2.4km. I pushed for the first 2 rounds. Managed to keep within the gold timing. But by the third round, lunch was almost coming out. I had no choice but to slow down.
I am determined to retake my IPPT again. This time with more emphasis on the run. And hopefully I will get back that IPPT gold award.
