Singapore - Johor 2nd Link Bridge Run 2006

Woke up around 0445h this morning. Changed into my running gear and set off to fetch Kinnard and Daniel before heading to Boon Lay Bus Interchange. Took a long ride to Tuas Bus Interchange.

There we were sort of lost. Just followed another fellow runner blindly. After he found out that we were like tailing him pretty closely he detoured. And thus we were left on our own to figure it out how in the world do we get to the Start Point. Took us almost 20mins to get to the Start Point. Along the way we travelled near a swampy area larh and i got 11 mosquito bites. Damn what a waste of blood.

First person we saw at the starting point was SWO. He waved at us as if we were like long time friends boy! Whoa.. thats a new. Met the rest of the guys there. They were all raring to go larh. Oh and I saw this lady. She had the calves of a professional runner larh. Damn big. And this lady was way faster than any guy when she ran for your info.

Yeah well i chionged for my run. Gave say 90% of my effort larh. The other 10% was spent enjoying the surrounding scenary. Damn what a good view. Completed the race which was 10km in 47:30mins. What a good achievement for me. The last 10km race I had i clocked around an hour. This race felt good.
